Official Rules for "7-11 Scratch and Win", October 1, 2012 through October 31, 2012
Clear Channel Entertainment, its subsidiaries and affiliated companies (together, the “Company”), will conduct its contests substantially as described in these general contesting rules, and by participating, each participant agrees as follows:
By entering, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these official rules.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Must be 18 years of age or older to redeem a prize card and must be a resident of Hawaii. Void where prohibited.
Employees and immediate family members of employees of 7-11 Hawaii., Clear Channel Entertainment Hawaii and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, suppliers, and their advertising and production agencies (collectively, the "Sponsors") are not eligible to participate.
To enter, beginning October 1st 2012 through October 28, 2012, go to any participating 7-11Hawaii and receive a scratch and win card with the purchase of any Slurpee or Coke a Cola Fountain Drink. Each scratch and win card will feature a message with either a prize or a message to “Try Again, Thank You for Playing”. Invalid or duplicate scratch and win cards will not be accepted.
All prizes and offers on the scratch and win cards must be redeemed by November 30, 2012. Any unclaimed prizes and offers on the scratch and win cards will be invalid on November 30, 2012
Customers can also enter by mailing in one 3" x 5" hand-written card. Card must contain customer's name, address, phone number, and email address with "Scratch and Win" written at the top of the card. Only one card mail-in request per person before October 28, 2012 allowed. Cards received after October 28, 2012 will be discarded. Illegible cards will be discarded. Promotion begins October 1, 2012 and ends October 28, 2012. Sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, illegible, incomplete or misdirected entries.
Any valuation of the prize(s) is based on available information provided to the Company, and the value of any prize awarded to a winner may be reported for tax purposes as required by law. Each winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable taxes related to the prize(s) and paying any expenses associated with any prize which is not specifically provided for in the official rules. Each winner must provide the Company with valid identification and a valid taxpayer identification number or social security number before any prize will be awarded. Any person winning over $600 in prizes from the Company will receive an IRS form 1099 at the end of the calendar year and a copy of such form will be filed with the IRS. The winner of the Las Vegas Trip will be responsible for baggage fees and airline taxes.

Driver's license or other appropriate picture identification is required to claim the prize(s). Only the prize winner may claim the prize. No proxies permitted. Prior to delivery of the prize(s), winner(s) are required to execute a Release and Affidavit of Eligibility, that must be received by the Sponsor within ten (10) days from winner(s) receipt of the Release and Affidavit of Eligibility form. Failure to complete, execute and deliver the Release and Affidavit of Eligibility in the time and manner specified above could result in forfeiture of a prize or prizes. Upon acceptance of the prize(s), winner(s) release sponsors from any and all liability for injury or damage to property regarding the prize(s).

Persons who violate any rule, gain unfair advantage in participating in the Contest, or obtain winner status using fraudulent means will be disqualified. Unsportsmanlike, disruptive, annoying, harassing or threatening behavior is prohibited. The Company will interpret these rules and resolve any disputes, conflicting claims or ambiguities concerning the rules or the Contest and the Company’s decisions concerning such disputes shall be final. If the conduct or outcome of the Contest is affected by human error, any mechanical malfunctions or failures of any kind, intentional interference or any event beyond the control of the Company, the Company reserves the right to terminate this Contest, or make such other decisions regarding the outcome as the Company deems appropriate. All decisions will be made by the Company and are final. The Company may waive any of these rules in its sole discretion. Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately circumvent, disrupt, damage or undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, the Company reserve the right to seek civil and/or criminal prosecution and/or damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Odds of winning depend upon the number of participants. Each winner must submit proof of eligibility and sign the Company’s release form to claim the prize. The Company may substitute prizes, amend the rules or discontinue the Contest at any time as announced on the Station(s). The Company disclaims any responsibility to notify participants of any aspect related to the conduct of the Contest.
